Veolia Environmental Servicestakes in some 400,000 metric tons of waste at its Sydney, Australia transfer station. We then ship it by rail to our landfill, located 250 km from the city, eliminating the disturbance associated with 35,000 annual round trips by truck.
The transfer station is also equipped with acoustic enclosures and flue gas and odor treatment systems so that local residents are almost unaware of this station located in the city core.
